Corinne Francis, MA MDIV

Corinne Francis brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare to her volunteer role with Medical Professionals on a Mission. Currently, she serves as the Senior Vice President Mission Integration of Dignity Health in San Francisco, California. Previously, she served as the System Vice President of Mission Integration and Community Benefit at CHRISTUS Health in Irving, Texas, and the Executive Vice President of Mission Integration in the Louisiana Region. Corinne served for 11 years as an executive leader with Catholic Health East, where she held the following positions as Director of The Allegany Franciscan Foundation in Palm Beach and Vice President of Mission Integration for Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey; St. Anthony’s Health Care in St. Petersburg, Florida; and St. James Mercy Health System in Hornell, New York.

In her current and past positions, leadership experience includes design, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and activities related to mission, core values, Catholic identity, leadership formation, organizational spirituality, spiritual care, ethics, community benefit, community health grant funding, patient and associate engagement and organization development. Francis has co-authored two publications with the Health Research and Education Trust of the American Hospitals Association.

In 2006 Corinne was selected by Modern Healthcare as one of 12 Up and Comers in the U.S. Health Care. She also served two terms as a Board member of the Catholic Health Association and chaired the Health Equity and Diversity Committee. Francis is currently a member of the Conference Planning Committee of the Association for Community Health Improvement, a division of the American Hospitals Association.

Francis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in theology and sociology and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Carlow University in Pittsburgh; a Master of Divinity with a concentration in health care mission leadership from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago; and a Master of Arts from the School of Social Service Administration with a concentration in health administration and policy from the University of Chicago. Francis is an inaugural Cardinal Bernardin Scholar of the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.
