Dr. Anne-Marie Johnrose-Brown is a Family Medicine Physician who practices in Florida. She was born in Dominica and grew up in the village of Loubiere. She is a graduate of the University of West Indies Medical School, Mona Campus., Jamaica.

She completed an Internship at the Princess Margaret Hospital In Nassau, Bahamas, and a Family Medicine Residency at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. After her Residency, she served on the Faculty of the Lutheran Medical Center Residency Program in Brooklyn, New York, and was a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Family Medicine/College of Medicine at SUNY Downstate.

Dr. Johnrose-Brown is a former Board Member of Project Patchwork. She has volunteered at the St. Petersburg Free Clinic and was the Physician Advisor for Community Health Fairs with St. Anthony’s Primary Care. Dr. Johnrose-Brown was one of the physicians who volunteered for the initial Medical Mission to Dominica after the island was devastated by Category 5 Hurricane Maria in September 2017.

She has a vision for improved healthcare in Dominica and the Caribbean, and the participation of Dominicans and other Caribbean diasporas in the healthcare of their country.
